This unit will shear white goods (7-11 tons/hour), mixed scrap (65 tons/day), railroad ties (100 tons/day), tires (14-24 per minute double stacked) and much more. Other Tire Industry Equipment - Portable SSI M85 with 2” Trommel Screen Classifier: T02205. This is a very clean portable SSI shredder that will produce 5 tons per hour of primary shred. It is powered by a 325 hp Cummins M-11 diesel engine, and is hydraulically driven. The cutting chamber is 35” x 52”, and the hopper opening is 59” x 67”. It is mounted on a dual axle trailer, and has a 2” trommel screen classifier for chip processing. The shredder can be easily transported, so it would be ideal for tire pile cleanups. Other Tire Industry Equipment - SSI Model 3600E Shredder: W0164. SSI is a leader in the shredding industry, and the Model 3600E is a powerful machine that holds up to that standard. This 1990 machine is an electric powered shredder with a 200 hp electric motor. The cutting chamber is 45”wide x 101”long, so it’s a great machine for larger than normal items such as white goods, pallets, MSW, wood waste, light gauge metals, plastic or metal drums, and many other applications. This machine has been completely refurbished by our shop and is as close to being a new machine as possible. The shredder had new bearings and seals installed. The knives have been rebuilt and hard faced. In addition, the control panel has been completely rebuilt. It comes with a custom fabricated 5’ wide X 50’ long in-feed conveyor, and has a hydraulic ram in-feed hopper that prevents items from bridging over or rolling around, it also comes with a stand and finally a custom fabricated 42” wide X 40’ long out-feed conveyor. This is a massive size machine that would work well for most all types of shredding especially where you have the need for a very large cutting chamber. Other Tire Industry Equipment - 2005 Columbus McKinnon Chipper Tire Shredder: T0181. This is just like a new CM chip shredder that has a multi stack cutting chamber. In fact we will be installing new hardened rotors in this machine as part of the refurbishing that were going to be doing to this machine. This is a much better longer life rotor arrangement than came out in these machines when they were shipped new from the factory. In addition these will have the multi-stack cutters meaning that they will have 1.9, 1.8, as well as 1.7 knife seats available to put knives on. This way you can purchase someones used 2.0 knives and grind it down three more times using it first on the 1.9 then on the 1.8 rotor seats and finally on the 1.7 rotor seats. This way your knife life is extended by three times and if you’re able to purchase used 2.0 knives your cost savings will be tremendous. Note: In addition to this Chipper we also have one that has the 2.2, 2.1, and 2.0 rotor seats. So you could actually purchase a new 2.2 knife and grind and re-use it five more times so this would be getting you six total uses out of each knife. And when they cost around $20.00 each this adds up to be a tremendous cost saving over a year’s time and especially over the life of the shredder. Of course this is if you would purchase both of these chippers that we have available refurbished for sale. This machine will be powered by a 200 H.P. electric direct drive system and have a soft start in order to reduce the amperage draw on startup. This machine was purchased new in July of 2005 and when refurbished by our shop will be just like new with the exception that the rotors will be made of heat treated 4140 material rather than the normal mild steel that they were shipped from the factory with. This means that if a knife does come off while the machine is in operation and you don’t catch it immediately you shouldn’t harm your knife seats near as easily. This chipper would work ideally in conjunction with any other primary shredder that you currently have installed. Other Tire Industry Equipment - 1800 E SSI Tire Shredder System: T0189a. A very nice clean 1992 machine that has recently had a lot of refurbishing done to the whole machine and only operated a small amount since this work was performed. The machine has only shred around 25,000 passenger tires since it was refurbished and is ready to shred many more without anything needing done at present. This machine recently had both main shafts replaced, all new bearings and seals installed, and a new 125 H.P. electric motor installed and the input section of Reggiani gear box replaced (this is the part that generally fails on this type of heavy duty gear drive reducer). This shredder currently has two hook 1 3/4” wide knives installed and has a fairly large shredding chamber with the size being 36” wide X 72” long. The shredder has a tremendous amount of torque for a small shredder with it developing 44,384 on the fast shaft and 56,064 on the slow shaft. That makes this particular shredder ideally suited for the shredding of passenger tires, light truck tires, e-waste, light metals, plastic, fiberglass, aluminum castings, wood waste, MSW, steel or plastic drums and many other products. Machine comes with In-feed hopper, shredder, shredder stand, and electrical control panel and will have a new paint job before it leaves our shop. Other Tire Industry Equipment - Model MS-5028 Jordan Reduction Solutions Tire Shredder: T0191. This 1992 machine has just been recently completely refurbished here in our shop and is ready to be put to work. This machine has all new bearings and seals and just had both main gears replaced and had new sides fabricated for the shredder box. This shredder is powered by (2) 75 H.P. electric motors and comes complete with a new in-feed conveyor and a new out-feed conveyor. This shredder currently has two hook 1 3/4” thick knives all the way down to 1” thick knives installed. The machine shredding chamber has a size of 28” wide X 50” long. The shredder has a tremendous amount of torque for a small shredder and it would work well for the shredding of many tuff application items. That makes this particular shredder ideally suited for the shredding of passenger tires, light truck tires, e-waste, light metals, plastics, fiberglass, aluminum castings, wood waste, carpet, MSW, steel or plastic drums and many other products. It is a Model 1564 with a brand new Tire Grinding option that has just been installed, and it can process 12-15 ton per hour of 2” rubber chips. The Hogzilla is powered by a 1000 hp Cat engine that had a major rebuild done on it in 2006. There is a magnetic head pulley on the discharge conveyor to recover the steel from the tires.
